   You and the Practice

Through this Topic we focus on you interacting with the Practice.

You and the Practice:
» You will not do it wrong.
You may not initially do it right and that’s not wrong (plus right and wrong can be perception).  Through the work you are creating your own way to be in the world, there is no getting this wrong.  How far and how fast you evolve are the measure.
» Each Source informs the other.
You can go thorough the 12 Sources in any order you like.  You are meant to notice as you go through the Practice that by gaining awareness around a Source then other Sources will become clearer too.
» Let all the Sources interconnect for you.
That is when they are the most powerful.  Making the connections then on to allowing (S5. Allow) the connections and then feeling (S4. To Feel) the connections are different than figuring out the connections (between Sources) in your mind.
Note:  You may have noticed similarities between this Topic and Topic E1. Retain You.  From one point of view it might seem (thought) like the process is repeating itself, from another point of view possibly you are making the connections?
» No one Topic of the Practice is meant to stand on it’s own.
Each Source (and Topic) are part of the whole, the entire Practice process.  Alone the pieces may seem fragmented, together they unify the practical and Spiritual (intention to).  You can receive benefit from individual Topics though together they are most powerful, powerful.
» None of it is for everyone, some of it is for everyone.
This process was created as a possibility (S12. Possibility) to who you can become and one of many path’s available to you.  It’s unlikely that everyone will appreciate any one Topic of this process (none of it is for everyone) yet it is likely that there is something here for everyone (some of it is for everyone).  Patience may be the request here as you work through the process until you find those Topics that are for you…
» Don’t feel the need to do all the Practice exercise’s.
The process has exercise’s you do and be.  They fall under the To Practice header in the Topics.  The intention of each exercise is to aid You in changing your life.  Look to the one’s that you feel help along this intention as the one’s to practice.  The further you go along the journey of knowing yourself the less exercise’s you will need (then feel) to do.  You will intuitively know.  Your life changes through the work you do (be).
» It is a journey that repeats or continues on.
Let go of the idea that you will master a Source all at once.  It’s a lot like life, the more you live and experience the more of life that makes sense and the more you understand (know) you don’t understand.  It’s in that understanding that you may feel compelled to revisit a Source you had previously felt you understood (understood as far as you could at that point in your journey).
Note:  Look at the idea of a child growing.  As a baby phones and keys can be left on the coffee table.  By age 3 everything has to go up on counters and by 5 no where is safe from little hands.  As you grow (evolve) your reach will expand beyond your mind.
» Don’t attach need to the work.
You may think I need to figure out the work to receive support.  This feeling of need is not the intention of the Practice.  Need can be hopelessness, this work is centered around being positive, the two contradict each other.  If your intention is to do and be the Practice then need is not a place you will put your energy.
Note:  As you shift to seeing problems as awareness of places to change (rather than just problems to fix) the work will benefit you more.

Challenges:
» The surfacing of the pain.
Don’t stop at the place where you surface the pain, keep going.  To transcend the pain you may bring it to the surface.  This could be in the form of awareness of the pain.  If you stop here then you live with the pain in your awareness (S1. Awareness), though it was likely there in the background subconsciously impacting your life.  There are many Topics of the Practice that work towards transcending pain: S11.Knowing Yourself is one example.  Another is S11. Feminine and Masculine, » As you release ego, macho, aggression you may find it difficult to do.
» Don’t worry if it’s not perfect, keep going.
So when practicing and say thoughts come up that is ok.  And when you don’t feel like doing it but do the work and it is not great keep going, it is ok.  This is the journey, embracing one step at a time (rather than jumping to the end).  Keep going.
» You are not a victim of this work.
At times the work may feel difficult, confusing, contradictory.  Smile, you are not a victim of the work.  Realize some (possibly all) of those feeling and thoughts were there before, the work is simply bringing them to the surface.  Even still recognize you are not a victim of the work (this Practice or another), that is your will (S11. Your Will).
Take what suites you leave what doesn’t, be who you are here to be, a whole connected human Being.  The work is here to support you, when that is not the case then let it be.  The ego will come in and tell you this is the situation for all of it, you know the truth.  Will (your will) is the choice to make to allow yourself to know (S4To Know).
» Don’t show them what you have become, show them what’s possible.
Then let them witness that possibility, from there they can derive their own ideas.  From S2. Them, » Rather than fix them show them what’s possible.  Live out your energy, let them be (who they are).
You may like to say:  I’m not going to change anything (in them).  My intention is to offer up a view of life that others can ponder.
We look at the idea of no more teaching in the Practice.  Rather show them what’s possible.  The Practice suggests the idea that we are all students sharing our experiences.  When your intention is solely to teach then you (personally) don’t evolve, change, grow.
Note:  The Practice of course values school teachers, professors, etc..  The idea is to be open to learning including from others even when you maybe know more than them about a particular subject (in this case the Practice).

.».  Summary
Eventually the Sources add up to That Feeling, to unify you with the Universe and Spirit… Let them.  This is to embody the intention of the Practice  (E3Intention, That feeling).
