The gift of frustration (is) to bring about change, to free you from complacency (and mediocrity). Through frustration (energy) we evolve. First comes frustration (struggle) then the suffering, heed the frustration to move beyond suffering as your mode of evolving. Allow yourself to be frustrated, that is the answer then take action. What does it mean to allow yourself to be frustrated? To be with the energy of the frustration rather than the unease. The energy of frustration fuels your action, this is the gift (of frustration) and how it can save you.

» When frustrated ask hold me in your good graces.
Connects with (S6. Ask God for Help) and a good first step when you are out of control and progressing backwards or stuck. A big deep breath (S11. Smile Breath Posture) can be the releasing of the pain and acceptance of the opportunity to evolve.
Note: I like to use the Grounding Posture (E2. Grounding) as part of my ask.
» Appreciate this moment first, then move on (forward).
One action (S5. Action) is to appreciate the awareness the frustration is bringing in. At first the awareness can be that your life is not working. Possibly pain, restlessness, unease and regret (S2. Regret). The awareness can transition to awareness of the energy available to you to change your life, to take that next step.
» Beyond the aforementioned ask and appreciating steps is to be with the energy of the frustration to fuel your evolving.
The how is the journey of your life, learn (really a remembering) to feel and be with the energy (S4.Energy). The work you do and be (S1. Do Be Create) will change your life, change how you interact with energy.
» The frustration is from…
You may like to try this exercise of listing out where you see the frustration coming from. For instance imagine you are working with someone and they just aren’t getting it and you are getting frustrated. It may be easy to judge them possibly even harshly. Try listing out, looking deeper at the frustration. Is it possible the frustration is from another source, maybe even you.
Note: I was working with someone who was not getting some simple math (simple in my opinion). As I sat down to do the Exercise I realized the deeper place the frustration was coming from, at-least one level deeper (there are more). What revealed was more about how I spent/wasted my morning, how I still had more to do the afternoon then there was time for, how I failed in my reaction to them. They ended up being my ‘excuse’ rather than my reason.
What ever the reasons the reality is likely something more than only the surface one. You are possibly more responsible (S5. Responsibility) then you might think and it’s likely based on some perceptions (that may not be true or necessary). Could be a fear of being happy (due to guilt, feeling guilty for life essentially), fear is a probability and ego too. If that situation goes away is your life perfect?

Change:
» Frustration brings about a change in direction (to your evolving).
From struggle to suffering or struggle to awareness. The choice is how to use the energy of frustration to evolve… towards suffering or through awareness (S3. Awareness).
» The gift of frustration (is) to bring about change.
To move beyond mediocrity and evolve-change-grow.
» What is the path beyond complacency?
+ Continue to evolve.
As soon as you think you have it all you give up on possibility.
» Frustration is your internal guidance (S3. Guidance) pushing you towards a greater life.
When you feel the frustration and in turn feel the guidance you notice the greater life available to you.
Fear, Anger:
» Fear and lack usually accompany the frustration.
One brings on (feeds) the other. In time you will see frustration is the fear coming to the surface. At the surface you can transcend the fear. The question then becomes if you were free of fear would you be free of frustration?
+ Not completely but it would be different, there would be no pain only possibly sadness (S4.Sadness) accompanying the frustration.
» Frustration can bring on anger.
What is the way out of the frustration and subsequent anger?
+ Do the work.
+ Recognize you are not a victim of anger.
+ The choices you make and allow determine your path.
+ Allowing (S5. Allow) is a choice.
+ Stop the pushing, pulling, chasing, manipulating, hesitating.
You:
» Frustrated beyond belief.
When you reach the point of being frustrated beyond (your) belief you will start looking for answers beyond the mind. Will you read this literally? Read knowing belief is from the mind (S1. Beyond Reason), beyond the mind is To Feel (S4. To Feel).
» Don’t make the frustration painful.
At times you may get frustrated with the work, it’s ok did you expect to understand the entire Universe in one moment, in one lifetime? The next step is typically to embrace pain, you don’t need to. Same for frustrating moments in your life, no need (S10. I Am Without Need) to make it painful. With frustration you can be a victim of the energy or you can… (be with the energy of the frustration).
» They are simply an outlet for your frustration and someone to blame.
When frustrated you may look to blame them (S2. Them), to view them as the reason for your frustration. Possibly they are acting as a catalyst for your evolving. When these types of situations occur in your life you are likely evolving through pain (frustration and struggle) rather then using awareness to move your life forward.
.». Examples
When you have it all (relationships, money, career, etc.) that’s when your susceptibility to complacency (and the inevitable suffering) increases. Embrace the frustration and all the elements of your life (relationships, money, career, etc.). You may think if it’s going well why would I want it to change? Change is the way of the Universe, aligning with this philosophy is you aligning with the Universe (S5. Universal Connection). The same applies when you are not living the life you are here to, the frustration can surface to bring about change.
.». Summary
You can pause for a moment to enjoy your life (EI. Joy), then continue to move forward your evolving. Further along your path rather than this duality of joy or evolving live both simultaneously. Live beyond duality (S1. Duality) that is the true evolving, to live (enjoy life) while evolving. There is no separation from time nor should there be separation between your joy and evolving. The evolving may not always be fun but it does not have to be painful.
