A prayer to help in relief of fear and need. The prayer is for you during your moment of fear.

» + God I ask for your help for me.
While in prayer pose repeat the prayer God I ask for your help for me with the intention to receive relief from fear. Know that the for me part of the prayer is important. This highlights you specifically asking for help for you. Feel no guilt in this moment, you don’t need to (never do).
.». Additional Details
When you say the prayer slowly the grammar (of the prayer) flows smoother. Combined with your breath the words of the prayer are a Practice in presence (S9. Presence).
Feel your breath on the words of the prayer. Create a rhythm between your breath, body and the words. Let go of logic (so many words per breath, the same every time you repeat the prayer for example) and rather flow your breath through the prayer (this is the rhythm). With your eyes closed you can almost see the support there in your minds eye.
Note: You may find you transition to repeating only the first three words of the prayer. This is ok as they encapsulate the intention of the prayer. Do this once you feel the intention of (the) prayer. Eventually the prayer may become stillness (S8. Prayer of Stillness).
In the process (S2. Fear) we mention; God and the Universe are not going to help you with fear. This prayer is as close as you are going to receive help with fear. In a sense this prayer helps to keep you from imploding from the fear (if you will). To move past the fear and do and be a rich full life takes your will. You have a part to play to move your life forward (period). It’s not going to be done for you. See the prayer more as help rather than cure (of fear).
.». To Contemplate
» Release the burdens (you are to).
You may like to contemplate the idea of the prayer helping you to release the burdens that bring on the fear (need). There are two distinct ideas to contemplate: First your burdens (what they are and releasing them), second the prayer helping you on your journey. For example you say the prayer and feel calm during your moment of fear, how do you feel that worked? Is this not a miracle of God…
Note: We look at in relationships (S6. Relationships) the idea of opening up the space for God to work through you. This is a possibility as to how the prayer functions.
Depending on your view of Spirituality you may view this as a miracle of life with a variation of the prayer I ask for help for me as a mantra during meditation. This option opens up prayer to those with different views around God with the energy focused on attracting in peace for you in this moment. You may imagine the energy (soothing) coming through the Universe.

For you:
» + God I ask for your help for me.
» God feel me.
These two Expression’s are declarations to God, you surrendering to help. Through surrendering to help you release fear (and need).
» The prayer is specifically not about asking please for help. You will notice in the Practice please is not used (See E1. Unnecessary Declarations, » There is no please in the Practice).
» Desperation is not the only time to use the prayer.
The prayer is there for you (period).
» The prayer is about need and surrender.
In moments of need feeling your will (S11. Your Will) to surrender (to help, assistance).
» The intention of this prayer is very specific.
And has a different intention than Source 6 Ask God for Help. Exploring those differences are a path to knowing the Practice, knowing yourself. You may notice the moment (situation) is the defining difference.
External:
» The ego may find the grammar of the prayer annoying.
The intention of the prayer is you, for you to slow down, relax and soothe. Prayer is counter to the methods (S11. Methods of the Ego) of the ego. Prayer naturally has an intention to disassociate from the ego (the cause of some of your issues).
Note: Do you think it’s possible for you (not the ego) to find the grammar annoying? As an evolved Being would annoyed be part of your psyche? These questions are the path to knowing yourself (S11. Know yourself).
.». Examples
In moments of feeling need this prayer (intention of the prayer) has worked for me. One night I could not sleep due to fears I was experiencing. I asked God for help (through this prayer) and started to fall asleep. For a second I felt guilt as I essentially fell asleep on God then realized this was my request (prayer), to sleep peacefully.
When you go through a process (this process) you likely will find prayer helpful. Things may be going well in your life yet as you change, grow you will look for support. This prayer is a good place to look. You may question “are things going well” or are you living within the confines of perspective. For those of you who dare to look at the parts of your life that scares (fear) you… the prayer of need.

The prayer is there for you when you need it, for your moments of fear and need. The prayer has the possibility to feel very powerful as well as very soothing (when you allow).
